VIA® Release Notes August 2018

Changes and features made available in the August 2018 release of the VIA Platform (check https://status.viaboards.com for more information).

VIA® Portal

1. Shared lists - new type of list on a board that allows you to show cards that are located on other boards
   1. Can support one or more lists of the same type displayed in a single shared list
   2. Lists are colored to be distinct from normal lists
2. System Banner - added system banner to provide general announcements and maintenance notifications to entire user community
3. Carrier Integration - Forward Air and Central Transport now supported for full integration (Rating, Booking, Tracking, and Documentation)
4. Internal Rating - Enhancements to internal rating, carrier rating, and customer specific rating engines to better support 
5. Location Type - Enabled drop down capabilities
6. Order Import - Added additional capabilities to import with reference numbers, dates and times, commodity information, and stop detail

VIA® Mobile

1. Geofencing Option - Added option to allow stops to be arrived out of order
2. Board Option - Added option to allow completion of a load at arrival at destination
3. Route select - Added option for driver to be able to pull a load or route not directly assigned by identifier.
4. Security Option - Allow for additional authentication to be enabled by MC #
5. Performance - Eliminated performance overhead on internal API calls
6. Activities - Arrival/Departure completed with Mobile will be clearly defined within the load activity
7. Activities - Arrival/Departure completed with Geo-fence will be clearly defined within the load activity

Platform Fixes / Defects Resolved

 VIA® Portal

1. Activated Password reset capabilities
2. Resolved problem with enabling Auto-add of locations without specifying target board in board configuration
3. Fixed adding stop references when on a different tab which would cause an inability to save the change
4. Fixed automated invoice attachment to load
5. Resolved bug in Ramp maintenance that could possibly remove (incorrectly) actions/activities that were below an item being removed
6. Fixed issues with System Notification banner to prevent UI overlay and to allow usage for pending updates or issues
7. Fixed issue with Partner Network invites when company already exists as a user in VIA
8. Resolved issue with Next Event Ramp causing it to fire too many times
9. Fixed issue with multi-select inappropriately selecting cards after a move or archive operation
10. Sorted drop-down option administration alphabetically
11. Fixed Conversations logging you out when clicking a link
12. Fixed ramp action Attach Truck to Driver so that it will not fire on completed loads
