This documentation provides information on all of the changes, new features, and improvements that are available in the 2022.4 Release and is subject to change and updates through June 17th when the release reaches GA.

VIA® Portal
General Features and Improvements
Pagination and Save features added to Workspaces to increase overall performance.
We continue working on Taxes calculation, adding breakdown and better display of involved values.
The Segment builder is now setting the Stop Type of a split Order as ‘None’ in order to differentiate it from the actual pickups and deliveries.
Added support to include Carrier and Special Instructions Notes on RFQ/RFP webforms.
We continue enhancing the Template system that allows companies to create whole new environments from pre-established sets of Boards, Lists and Ramps (allowing new tenants deployments in minutes)
Added City and State lookup capabilities to the Driver’s Personal Information Page (populating the Zip Code will populate the City and State fields with the corresponding values.
Updates to Custom Field will now generate Activities showing previous and current states.
Added ‘Load Completion Date’ information to Order and Segment Cards.
We continue adding Native Support to various integrations. Starting with this Release, it is possible to configure and start using an integration with RMIS with a very minimal set of fields to define.
We’ve also enabled native support to Project 44 in our list of integrations
We have modified the limit of cards that will enable the “Select”, “Move” and “Archive” All Cards options in any given list, in order to prevent users from performing these operations in a big number of cards at once.
Added Filter/Search box to the (Admin) Drivers maintenance screen.
Added support to hourly based accessorial charges (a new field within the Accessorial definition allows user to define the Value per Unit information).
VIA® Platform
Registration System
We are redesigning our self-registration system to facilitate -yes, even more- our initial process to welcome new Companies to register and start using VIA. We’re adding a new Billing system to allow Credit Card or Invoice payments, giving our customers complete control over their subscription.
Ramps
Adding new checkpoints to condition Ramp run on card’s existence/availability.
Added Support for the Project44 integration through Ramp Actions
We have removed Ramp logs from the Activities section, and continue working on improving our logs capabilities (for ramps, transactions, geofences, etc.).
API
Added support to nested objects through API requests.
Expanded API capabilities for Commodities definition.
Endpoint added to the Public API to retrieve any card’s email address.
Platform Fixes / Defects Resolved
Clicking on a conversation ‘bubble’ will now open and close a conversation (based on current state).
Fixed issue where the Cost was being duplicated when the Margin for a given Carrier was set to 0%
Fixed issue where the previous Carrier Rate Rule was being shown in newly created Carrier Rate Rules
Fixed issue with the Segment builder process swapping the stops order after being added to a new Segment.
Fixed issue with Activity filters being applied on screens without default Filters.
Fixed issue that was preventing VIA from closing a card after the Map view was opened from an Order.
Fixed issue that prevented the Truck-stop role icon from appearing in mini-card
Fixed issue that prevented the service type options to be updated correctly after setting a new Carrier on an Order or Segment card (previous Service option was being kept as default).
Fixed issue when Creating an Invoice from an Order (not showing a target Board and List for the new card).
Fixed issue that prevented new Rules from being cleared after a previous Lane Rule had been defined.
Fixed issue that was preventing Stops from showing on the Map view when opening from a Card’s action menu.
Fixed issue when creating new Stops with Custom Fields visible in them.
Fixed issue that prevented Completed Loads to be visible in the Mobile App.
Dropdown options that have been removed/hidden are no longer showing as empty/blank rows (showing a code instead).
Fixed issue showing Packing Groups in Commodity definition as Text Boxes instead of a pre-defined dropdown.
Fixed issue with Templates being shown in Grids
Fixed issue with Commodity definition required and optional values (min and max temperature should be optional if Temperature Controlled is set to False).
Fixed issue with Accessorial charge being removed from Total when adding a Rate from a matching Lane card.
Fixed issue with the ‘View Order Estimated Duration’ permission (Admin > Roles).
Fixed issue with Units of measure not being used when matching Lane rates condition criteria.
Fixed issue preventing the ‘Has Scheduled Segment Pickup’ Order flag not being reset after removing Order from existing Segment
Fixed issue with the 'Bill To taxable' permission
Fixed issue with the Original Shipper link being removed from an Order after saving latest changes
Fixed issue with the 'View NMFC Code' permission
Fixed issue with original sender being removed from list of recipients when doing a Reply All from a card (Notes > Email)
