This documentation provides information on all of the changes, new features, and improvements that are available in the 2022.3 Release and is subject to change and updates through May 21 when the release reaches GA.

Platform Feature Enhancements

VIA® Portal

General Features and Improvements

• Added a new Timeline widget to the Workspace view

• Enhanced Drag And Drop capabilities on Workspace Views

Open

• Driver Profiles now include standard Starting and Stopping Locations

• Logs screen re-engineering and look and feel minor changes.

• Discover a whole new Route Planner.

• Added Feature to auto-assign a Bill To location based on Pickup (Prepaid) or Delivery (Collect) Stops and Bill types

• Added option to allow creating Invoices on Open (non-Completed) Orders

• The Sidebar menu is now tab specific

• Added an Import from CSV file feature to the different Dropdown Options screens

• Added Search and Filtering options using Custom Defined Fields

• Added certain numeric capabilities to custom fields (non-negative, max and min values, decimal places)

• New Workspaces features for better performance and usability (save button, pagination and new filtering options)

VIA® Mobile

• Fixed issue that prevented certain Prompt Tasks to be Completed within the Mobile App/Portal.

VIA® Platform

Ramps

• Basic Ramps are now deprecated (still maintained but it’s not possible to create new ones)

API

• Added SSO capabilities for certain carriers direct integrations.

Platform Fixes / Defects Resolved

• Fixed issue that prevented adding new members to a Board.

• Fixed issue preventing certain WYSIWYG buttons to appear on Email popup window

• Fixed issue with Default/Preferred Workspace (not always being initially shown)

• Fixed issue that prevented the Service Type to be set when copying a Trip card

• Fixed issue with Segment Builder stopping on certain cases

• Fixed issue with some dropdown options that appear duplicated

• Fixed issue that prevented creating Invoices on Orders without charges

• Fixed issue with some locations not appearing centered in map when first shown

• Fixed issue with stop locations not always retrieving prepopulated values

• Fixed issue with the ‘Move all cards’ list option

• Fixed issue with the maps refresh rate (which appeared as two overlapping fences)

• Fixed issue preventing certain icons to appear on maps

• Fixed issue with mini-cards overlapping certain map icons

• Fixed issue with certain prompt popups appearing truncated (because of position on screen)
