How do I Archive a Card?

There are multiple ways to archive cards within the VIA system. This guide will show you how you can Archive a Card to remove it from your Board.

Archiving a Card With the Card Open

1. Click on the Card that you would like to Archive
2. When the Card information panel opens. Click on the Cards Menu Icon .
3. Click on "Archive Card'.
   
   

Dragging and Dropping a Card to Archive it

1. Locate the card that you want to delete within your list
2. drag the card to the top of the screen until you see a black band appear and a notification on the top left side of the screen.
3. Release the card at the top of the screen and it will be archived.

Archiving Multiple Cards at a Time

1. Open the board where you want to archive a number of cards
2. click on the multi select button to the left of the view dropdown selection button to allow for the ability to select multiple cards at one time.
3. Checkboxes will appear beside the cards within the board. Select the cards you would like to archive
4. Drag any of the cards that you have selected to the top of the screen. You will see a count of all the cards you have selected.
5. Release the cards at the top of the screen and all the selected cards will be archived.

Archiving All the Cards in the List

If you would like to archive all the cards within a given list. You can follow the steps below

1. Click on the List Menu button
2. Select the Archive All Cards in the List option button. 
3. You will be asked to type in ARCHIVE in order to confirm that you want to archive all the cards in the list.
