Partner Company - Completing the Partner Network Setup

Once you have sent out the partner invitation an email will be delivered to the user that you listed in the setup. The following documentation walks through the final steps to complete the setup of the partner network.

Email

The person you sent the email invitation to will receive an email in their inbox to notify them that they have been invited to start using VIA:

Clicking the Sign Up Now button will launch a web browser.  The next section of the setup will require the new user to create an account for themselves. They will need to fill in their name, requested username and a password. When the form has been filled in, press Next.

The Next screen will ask for company information such as name, address and phone number. This is asked for because the partner network will essentially create a new company setup for this partner network. With access to the boards that were stipulated in the partner network configuration screen.

 

If the process is successful the system will notify the user and automatically log them into VIA with their username:

Once the user has logged in, they will brought to the main VIA screen; however, the only boards they will see are the boards that they were given access to in the partner setup configuration screen. These boards will have the same name as the boards on the parent system; however, they will also have the parent companies name linked on the board face.
