This guide will go over how to use the "Load Tendering" features in VIA.
Freight Load Boards are online matching systems that allow shippers and freight brokers to post loads. They also allow carriers to post their available equipment. These systems allow shippers and carriers to find each other and enter into agreements to move freight.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to Tender Loads to the different Load Boards Services that VIA can integrate to.
Locate and click on the “Tools” button on the right sidebar of the board.
Select the “Load Tender” option.
This expands that section and allows user to drag and drop one or more loads to be tendered.
It’s Important to notice and check: Multiple Load Board Integrations can be active in a given environment and the default Expiration Interval can be manually over-written.
Once loads to be tendered, the destination and Expiration Override options have been set, simply click on the “Send Tender” button.
Wait for a confirmation message to appear and notice that the loads will show a new icon.
If needed (for troubleshooting reasons), go to the Admin > Logs section. Select the “Integrations Logs” Type and see more details about any tendering action that may have occurred (this section will show both, carriers and loads tendering/integration, logs).
