VIA® Portal

  • Ramp System - Added support to automatically assign carriers based on lowest rate in addition to carrier preference
  • Bill of Lading - Allow for the override of the company name of the Bill of Lading based on the Pay-to Carrier information
  • Shadow List - Redesigned shadow list interface to make the user interaction more friendly.
  • Ramp System - New Carrier Assignment feature allows automatic assignment based on best rate.
  • Geo-fencing - New setting allows for the specification of default geo-fence radius at the board level.
  • GPS - Proximity information on the mini-card and card detail now show "as of" date/time to reflect when the GPS position was received.
  • Locations - New feature allows specifying hours of operation for shipping, delivery, and general locations and stops schedule outside these hours will receive warning.

Platform Fixes / Defects Resolved

 VIA® Portal

  • Fixed Reference Number and Freight Pagination where first page would improperly be re-displayed on paging.
  • Resolved issue where Shadow Lists allowed for route feature to be enabled.   This is not supported on Shadow Lists.
  • Resolved defect where Auto-Add Locations feature could be enabled without specifying a location board.
  • Resolved issue where Board Maintenance (Admin) did not show board type icon / indicator.
  • Resolved bug in API where sort changes invalid activity to be created.
  • Fixed mobile tracking to reduce unnecessary DB queries.
  • Fixed issue where density calculation causes multiple queries.
  • Resolved bug in API where it was doing multiple user look up.
  • Optimized find/sort queries to improve performance.
  • Resolved issue where freight details cannot be opened while rates are running.
  • Fixed performance issues when running rates or performing quick quotes.
  • Optimize DB indexes to improve global search speed.
  • Fixed issue where ramp actions in a Carrier or Customer tenant show Partner boards as valid targets.
  • Fixed issue where inset map in card detail was not always enabled when tracking data received.
