VIA offers users the ability to copy lane cards and adjust the rates stored within the cards during the copy procedure. For example, if you would like to take this years rates and increate them by 10%, using the copy feature, you can achieve these results. This section of the help screen will walk your through this process.

Accessorial Rates
Matrix Rating
Expiry Dates
Let’s look at the steps to adjust a lane card within the system.
To begin, find the lane card that you are looking to copy, open the card and click on the Card Action menu, (represented by three horizontal lines) on the top right side of the card:
From the menu that appears, choose the Copy and Adjust Lane Card menu option. This will bring up an adjustment wizard.
In the first field, enter in a name for the new card that will be created as a result of the copy.
Enter in the new expiry date for your copy. By default, the new card name and the Expire Date will automatically fill in with the data from the existing card.
Adjustment Factor: There are three different section contained within the Adjustment Factor Section:
Linehaul
Accessorial
Matrix
If your lane card contains flat rate linehaul charges or per unit linehaul rates, then the first linehaul option will effect these two types of rates. Accessorial charges other than matrix type accessorial rates can be updated with the section adjustment field. All matrix type rates will be effected if you choose the third option.
