How to view a board

  • Simply just click any board from the categories on the homepage.

If you do not see any boards they may be hidden. Click a category or click "Expand All" to show boards

  • You can also click on a board in your shortcuts in the top left corner.

View Options on Boards

There are a number of different ways that you can view the card information on your board. There are currently 4 different views available on boards; however, depending on the type of board some of the views might not be available. To access the different views available on your specific board open the board and click on the view icon on the top right side of the screen. This will bring up a popup list of all the views available for your specific type of board.

List View

This is the classic way to view cards in VIA. Your cards will be organized in vertical lists. Below is an example of a list view using a quote board. Using this method will display your data in logical groups that were created for your unique business requirements. This view will be available on any board in the VIA system

Map View

The map view is mostly used to display location and routing information. While this view may be available in a number of different board types, it will only return data in boards that have a physical address or a location. This includes boards such as: Order, Segments, Quotes, Carrier, Truck, Driver, Trailer. The map view will display a map what can be displayed in either classic map view or satellite view. If you are viewing a route based card such as an order, segment or a quote the map view will show you the route that the card will follow. You can show or hide information such as the route line, and tracking points or geofences.

If you are viewing cards such as drivers, trucks, trailers or locations then the information presented will be a single location to show where they are currently.

If you are on a location tablet then, from this view you will also have the ability to edit your location's geofence.
