Shadow lists are pre-existing list that already reside on another board in the system. Creating a shadow list will bring that list from the other board and make it viewable on the board you are working on.
Step-by-Step Guide to Import a Shadow List
Prerequisite: There must already be an existing list on another board that you would like to display on a separate board. For example, perhaps you have your dispatch boards setup so that there is one board per geographical location and you want to create one board for the supervisor to see the lists from all the boards together in one master board.
- Open the board that you want to import a shadow list into.
- If this is the first list that you are adding to the board you will see the following rectangle on the left side of the screen. If the board already has lists on it then this rectangle will appear to the right of the last list on the board.
Image Added - Click on the + and it will change to an x with the options list and shadow represented. For this example, choose Shadow.
- You will be presented with a list if boards that match the same board type as your current board. For example, if you are trying to add a shadow list to an order type board then you will see a listing of all other order type boards. If you have a large number of boards appear you can use the filter at the top of the screen to filter down to a specific board.
