These buttons will perform the following actions:

image-20241119-181536.pngImage Added Add Stop - When you press this option, you will be able to Add a stop such as a terminal or border crossing, remove all pickup stops or remove all delivery stops. If this is an LTL Regional pickup for example, you may want to add a terminal stop and then remove the deliveries as they will be added to a different segment when the orders reach the delivery terminal.

Manual Merge - While the system has the ability to automatically merge stops this option will allow a user to manually merge two stops together. For example, if you have two pickup stops that are picking up at the same location but not at the same time the system will not automatically merge them. If you want them merged you can do that using this manual merge option.

Auto Merge - If you have multiple stops occurring at the same location at exactly the same time, they system can automatically merge them together for you. If you find this option does not work, it is possible that the scheduled PU time may be different on the stops.

Clear All - If you want to clear everything you have done and start again, clicking the clear all button will remove all the orders from the segment builder, all the merges will be removed as well as the stops. You can start the process again.

Finalize - Once you are done merging, adding and removing stops, you can press the finalize button. The system will ask you what board and what list you want to create the new segment in. It will them assign the orders in the segment builder to your new segment.

Once the segment has been built the orders display a segment icon on their mini card

Additionally, when you open a card that has been put on a segment, you can see the segment that each stop is assigned to.

You can click on the segment number within the stop to open the segment card. From within the segment card, if there are multiple orders on a segment stop because they were merged together, each bill number will show on the segment stop

This option will allow you to create another stop on your segment. This can be a pickup/delivery or other type stop

image-20241119-181647.pngImage Added Manual Merge - This option will allow you to manually merge the stops on the segment. Once you click the button, you can drag one stop onto another. When you do , if the stops do not have identical information, you will get a popup error similar to what you see below:

This message means that if you confirm the merge, the card that you dragged in order to merge will lose it’s information.

image-20241119-182008.pngImage Added Manage Orders - This option will allow you to add orders to the segment or remove orders that were previously assigned to the segment (either through the segment builder or the segment editor). When you click this button, you will see all the orders that are assigned to your segment. You can click on the add new order button, you can search for an order and then add it to the segment. You can also see a list of the orders that are currently on the segment and remove them if they no longer need to be on the segment.

image-20241119-182555.pngImage Added Clear All - This option will clear out all of the changes that you have made on the segment during the session.

image-20241119-182643.pngImage Added Confirm Changes - Once you have completed your changes, selecting this button would save whatever changes you have made.

At the bottom of the segment builder, there is another button called Add Split

image-20241119-182922.pngImage Added When you click this option, you will be asked if you want to generate your split based on an existing stop OR by entering a new stop. If you pick existing stop you will see a list of the stops in your segment that you can choose from. If you choose to Add a new stop, you will have to give details on the stop.

The system will create 2 new sections when you enter or select your stop. second section will store the connecting stop. There will also be a third section created. You can drag the stops following the connecting stop from the original segment.

When you are done, click on the checkmark button to save your changes. A new segment will be created, and both the initial and the new segments will show a linked icon on the mini cards.

When you open a linked card, you will see the various cards that are connected either on the top or bottom of the card (depending on if the segment is the first or second segment).
